“We are re-living the best day with your photos!!”

Big moments for your small event

It may seem silly. You might say a selfie on your phone is enough. But when you're looking back on that day, you're going to want photos that showcase exactly what you were experiencing, from a third point of view. You're going to want photos that remind you of the temperature, the weather, how you chose your outfit, if you brought a bouquet you picked up at the store. How easy and simple it felt to go to the courthouse or meet at the top of the mountain with just your photographer, or a small gathering of close family and friends. Photos you're proud to frame in your house and show off.

Whether you're adding a photographer last minute or knew all along you just wanted your ceremony to be private, there's space for captured memories.

For the summer of 2018, I assisted a wedding photographer across an entire season. From keeping the entire event on track to scouting beautiful spots for the couple to escape to for a few moments, it was a crash course in wedding photography.

I took a step back from weddings after that summer, said it wasn't for me. I told my friends I would only do courthouse weddings or engagement sessions.

Next thing I knew, I had friends calling me, asking if I was available to come to the courthouse in a few days with my camera. I always said yes - to be asked to be the only person at a wedding besides the bride and groom felt like an immense privilege, and I was so grateful to be a part of their day. Through these smaller ceremonies and quiet moments, I started to love shooting couples again.
